Jeni’s background is Youth Work and she is a specialist trainer in the area of safeguarding children. Jeni has always had a keen interest and commitment to service user involvement and hearing the voice of the child in all her roles. In her current role with Common Room, Jeni feels passionate about the innovative work they are able to do to amplify young people’s voices within the services provided to them. She feels energised working alongside young people with lived experience, supporting them to find ways to use their experience to shape and improve services and strategy.
